Refund policy
Updated 28 August 2026
This page describes how refunds work in ayroam's design, and what that means during the closed test, where no money is actually charged.
During the closed test
No payment is real in this build, so no refund is real either. The flows below run end to end against a mock gateway so that they can be tested honestly, and money shown as refunded is test data.
Refunds follow the fare's own rules
Every fare states its refund and change conditions before you book, on the fare card and again on the fare page. A refundable fare cancelled before ticketing is refunded in full. A non-refundable fare is labelled exactly that way up front, and cancelling it tells you what, if anything, comes back before you confirm.
If a booking fails, you are not charged
Payment is captured only after the airline confirms the booking. If the airline cannot confirm your seats, the payment hold is released and nothing is charged. If the outcome of a booking is ever unclear, your payment stays held, not charged, while ayroam reconciles with the supplier, and the booking page tells you exactly which state you are in.
How a refund reaches you
A refund is returned to the payment method that made the booking. Once real payment rails are live, this page will state the expected timelines per method (card, bKash, and other mobile banking) and who to contact when a refund is late.
Cancelling
A booking can be cancelled from its own page. The cancellation screen shows the fare's rules and the exact refund amount before asking you to confirm, and the booking's history records every step.
