ayroam is built not to sell you. No advertising trackers, no analytics SDKs, no data partners, no pixels. This page lists everything the site stores and why.
What is collected
Searches you run (route, dates, travellers) are processed to answer them and cached briefly for speed. A booking stores the traveller details you enter: names, dates of birth, nationality, travel document details, and the contact email and phone for the booking. An account stores your email, mobile number, and a password hash; passwords themselves are never stored.
The free-text search box
Text you type into the trip box (English, Bangla, or Banglish) is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to be understood, and to nothing else. It is not used to train models, and ayroam stores the parsed result, not a profile of you. The microphone button, where your browser offers one, uses your browser's own speech recognition: the audio is processed by your browser vendor's service, never by ayroam, and only the recognised text reaches the trip box, where you can edit it before anything runs.
The passport scan
If you use Scan passport on the traveller form, the photo is read in memory, sent once to Anthropic's Claude API to transcribe the passport's two machine-readable lines, and then discarded. The photo is never stored, never archived, and never used for anything but filling the form fields you then review and can edit. The values are verified against the passport's own check digits in ayroam's code, and nothing is saved until you submit the form yourself.
What is never collected
No third-party advertising or analytics scripts run on this site. There is no Facebook pixel, no Google Analytics, no session recording, and no data sharing with ad networks or data brokers. Document numbers are masked wherever the site displays them.
Where data lives and how long
Data is stored in a managed Postgres database (currently hosted in the United States) and is retained while the closed test runs. When the closed test ends, test bookings and their traveller details are deleted. Account holders can ask for their account and its bookings to be removed at any time via the contact routes on this site.
Payments
In this build, payments run through a mock gateway: no card number or wallet credential is ever entered, transmitted, or stored. When real payments go live, payment details will be handled by the licensed payment gateway and will not touch ayroam's servers; this page will be updated with the gateway's name before that happens.
